The Hahndorf Farm Barn is one of Adelaide’s most popular destinations to celebrate children’s birthdays. Children of all ages just love having birthday parties at the Hahndorf Farm Barn surrounded by their favourite cute and cuddly animals. There are a number of activities for kids that are both safe and full of fun. We have a covered area just outside the main Farm Barn building which is set up with picnic benches and seating under a pergola as well as a second area under a rotunda in a more secluded section of the farm. And if the weather is warm and sunny there is a delightful shaded area under the trees as well. Parties run for 2 hours to fit everything in!! There are a range of activities for kids to keep them engaged throughout the session. Sessions run from either 10.30am to 12.30pm or 1.00pm to 3.00pm.

We offer two different kinds of birthday parties here at the farm barn. Our most popular party option is our personally hosted and catered party for kids for 2 hours. Let us look after the catering for your party, we even do your party decorations in a farm theme, and you get to leave the mess behind – all you need to bring are the kids!

We can even come to you! We have a mobile farm party option if you’d prefer to have your party at home but would still love to have some Farm Barn animals there!

We usually host a couple of kid’s birthday parties on both Saturday and Sunday so it is necessary for you to book ahead. This enables us to set aside a special area for you. It really is a fun place to celebrate that special children’s birthday.

Fully Catered and Hosted Party

• One party host who serves food and escorts the children around the farm.
• All party food and cupcakes for kids (platters can be arranged for adults for an additional cost)
• Bottle feed baby animals inside the barn and cuddle cute bunnies and guinea pigs
• Attend the farm show
• Hosted tour of the wildlife park
• All animal feed is provided
• $490 for up to 12 kids, $20 per child thereafter (nb – for parties booked for 16 kids or more, an extra host will be required to effectively supervise that many children, fees apply)
• Parents of the party child are free (other adults will be charged)
• $12 per additional adult or concession – admission only (special party pricing, normally $17.50)

Pony rides available for your party! Ask us to book this for you if you’d like to include pony riding during your party – just $5 per participating child!*

* Pricing includes full public liability and equine insurance.

Please note, additional costs may apply for extra hosts.

Self-catered Party

Another party option is the self-catered party where you can bring your own picnic or BBQ and a range of soft drinks, as well as tea and coffee, is available from the Farm Barn. The same party session times as above apply for self-catered parties.

• Attend the farm show
• Visit the wildlife park and feed animals inside the barn at your leisure
• $50 picnic area booking, including BBQ use, plu$12 per child and just $12 per adult or concessison (special party pricing, normally $17.50)

Mobile Farm Party

Whether it’s for a Birthday Party, Playgroup, a Fete, or a School Incursion, you are guaranteed loads of fun and interaction!

The Hahndorf Farm Barn can bring a variety of baby farm animals which can include lambs, kids, goats, sheep, calf, guinea pigs, rabbits, and chickens! Our baby farm animals love all the attention! They always draw in an audience, especially when its bottle time for the calf!
