Character Parties

A great party for most age group is to have a character party.  Your entertainers will be beautifully presented in their character costumes creating a fabulous party theme for your guests to enjoy. All character parties run for 1.5 hours or 2 hours depending on the size of the group. Your party will include lots of party games (including prizes), face-painting or glitter glam and a lot of dancing, Character parties conducted at the Polka Dot have an element of disco, as the party games and activities are conducted in the disco party room with flashing disco lights and music.

Disco Dance Party (ages 3 – 11 years old)

Polka Dot is very well known for our disco dance parties and is by far the most popular party theme we offer. It is a great party theme for both girls and boys parties. The children will experience all of Polka Dots party rooms with high energy dancing, party games and face-painting. If your birthday child doesn’t like the idea of the dance routine performance, we will continue with a few more party games to finish the party. With all of the music playing on the surround sound system under flashing disco lights. A Polka Dot disco party will be sure to get your party group dancing and having a great time. We will tailor your disco party to suit the age of the birthday party child to ensure they have the best time.

Junior disco parties run for 1.5 hours and we play lots of well known dance activity songs with actions for the children to copy. There is never a dull moment at a Polka Dot party and we ensure everyone is kept involved in the party for the entire duration your event.

Girls Party Themes

Pamper Party ( Age 6 and above)

A Pamper Pink Party is for all the girls dressing up in our pink satin robes. They will be pampered with some face masks, get their nails painted , glitter face painting make overs and some glitter hairsprays. Best suited for a party full of girls, however a couple of boys are okay if they don’t mind some crazy hair styling and temporary tattoos. With more emphasis on pampering, your guests will enjoy being pampered by your Polka Dot entertainers.  There will still be plenty of disco dancing, games at your pamper party with plenty of prizes and nice pink table settings for party food and cake.

JoJo Party

Super hot right now is our JoJo party.  Most suited to a party full of girls!  This party will start of with the girls getting some glitter glam and hair up in a high ponytail.  If you like you can provide JoJo bows to put in the girls hair for them to take home as a gift. The party will be full of the popular songs including some JoJo songs, JoJo inspired party games and a JoJo dance routine.  As with all our party themes there will be an entertainer dressed like JoJo, JoJo table decorations and lots of party food.

Pyjamas Disco Party

Throw on your best pyjamas and slippers and invite your friends to a Polka Dot disco pyjama party. A fun and different way to experience a disco party with a few crazy pyjama party games, disco dancing and face painting. A pyjama party can be conducted at any time of the day- morning, noon or night and adds a great atmosphere when every one arrives wearing their pyjamas. A pyjama party has the same format as a disco party with a touch of silliness in our PJ’s.

Boys Party Themes

Rockstar & Popstar or Pyjamas Disco Party

Like all disco parties, your guests will get to play loads of games in the disco room under the flashing disco lights and mirror ball.  Polka Dot recommends all of our parties are suitable for boys up til the age of 10 years old.

Superhero or Star Wars Party

A great party for most age group is to have a character party. Your entertainers will be dressed in their character costumes creating a fabulous party theme for your guests to enjoy. Most character parties run for 1.5 hours, longer by request and are tailored to suit both for girls and boys. Your party will include lots of party games, face painting, dancing and etc. Character parties conducted at the Polka Dot venues all have a disco element to the party as the party games and activities are conducted in the disco party room.
